TWO of biggest ‘super-groups’ the world has ever known will be heading into Worcestershire this month.

So stand by for ABBA and Queen, well not quite, but probably the next best thing in the shape of two of the top tribute bands.

The first to arrive at Malvern’s Forum Theatre on Friday, September 5, will be Arrival UK, who are billed as ‘the ultimate ABBA tribute show’.

They are literally hot on the heels of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Heaven show which brought back to life the music of old rock stars such as Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran and Elvis Presley at the same venue last month.

Tribute shows are one of biggest musical phenomenons of the past couple of decades and their appeal shows little sign of diminishing. And no sooner than Arrival will have departed then Ga Ga! roar into town.

They’re a multi-award winning band who have headlined the ‘International Guitar Festival’ on several occasions, this promises to be a Queen show like no other when they perform on September 26.

Arrival UK are a highly respected Abba tribute band. They are one of the most sought after tribute bands in the world today having performed to sell-out audiences in the UK and Europe, America, Russia, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

Bursting on stage with an energy not witnessed in this type of production since the great band themselves toured in the 1970’s, they maintain a vitality that stuns the crowds and leaves them shouting for more!

Featuring the UK’s finest musicians, outstanding vocals, beautiful harmonies and choreographed dance routines – it all comes together to create a truly authentic Abba experience.

Ga Ga! have regularly appeared at numerous Queen Conventions as well as making many television appearances, and they have consistently proved why they are so highly rated by critics and audiences alike. There are no wigs, no make-up and definitely no false moustaches but instead a host of massive Queen songs played like they were meant to be.

The legendary guitarist and former Queen star, Brian May, has described them as ‘superb’.

Both shows are at the Forum and start at 7.45pm.
