TO celebrate 40 years of heavenly singing Alcester Male Choir will be performing a gala concert at Symphony Hall in Birmingham.
The festivities will take place on Saturday, April 5 with those who are interested in coming along advised to book tickets soon as some areas of the auditorium are already sold out.
The choir will perform under the guidance of founder and director of music Judith Land, who was awarded the British Empire Medal in the New Year's Honours list.
"It's shaping up to be a remarkable year rounded off with our Gala Concert," said Judith.
"Ticket sales have been consistently steady and we're confident we shall have a capacity audience with over 1,000 concert tickets already sold and 12 coaches booked.
"The circle is sold out and there are now limited tickets available in the stalls at £20 with more available in the upper circle at £18. Symphony Hall is one of the top concert venues in the country with first class acoustics and uninterrupted views from all areas of the auditorium.
"We urge anyone still interested in purchasing tickets to apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment."
To purchase tickets contact the choirs box office on 07860379668 or visit alcestermvc.org. Coach transport is available for a little extra cost from seven pick up points throughout the area including Redditch, Studley and Astwood Bank.
