FOLLOWING its world premiere in Birmingham in 2010 and subsequent Christmas Day BBC Television broadcast, Birmingham Royal Ballet’s Cinderella, will return to the Hippodrome this Christmas.
Directed by David Bintley, this classic fairytale tells the story of Cinderella, a young girl who is neglected and mistreated by her cruel stepmother and stepsisters.
Cinderella's life is one of hardship until her Fairy Godmother appears to cast a spell that will change her life forever.
Created for the city of Birmingham to celebrate the Company’s 20th anniversary in 2010, the production is one of Bintley’s most successful creations to date.
It brings together, in their first-ever collaboration, Bintley and internationally recognised artist and designer John Macfarlane.
Cinderella will run from November 21 to December 9 with tickets available from the box office on 0844 338 5000 or birminghamhippodrome.com.
