British actress Lena Headey has said she feels “utterly at a loss when we turn our backs on those who need it most”, after sharing a story about a child being assaulted in a Greek migrant camp.
The Game Of Thrones star tweeted a link to a news article which told how a four-year-old girl was raped in Greece, where thousands of asylum seekers are in camps.
Lena, based in Los Angeles, then posted a series of messages to her 849,000 followers on Twitter.
The actress plays Cersei Lannister in HBO’s fantasy drama.
