The stars of Wonder Woman unveiled a new trailer for the upcoming superhero movie at Comic-Con International.
Gal Gadot, who plays the title character, was joined by co-star Chris Pine and director Patty Jenkins as they revealed new footage from the film during Warner Bros’ presentation.
In one of the most dramatic scenes in the trailer, Wonder Woman is shown defending herself from gunfire as she emerges from the trenches on to a battlefield.
In another clip, Pine’s character – fighter pilot Steve Trevor – questions Wonder Woman about her father and how she has never met a man before.
She replies: “I had no father. I was brought to life by Zeus.”
The trailer ends with a comedic appearance from British actress Lucy Davis, who plays Steve’s secretary Etta Candy.
Wonder Woman is set for release in cinemas in June next year.
