Winning an Oscar may be a serious business in Hollywood – but even the top stars know there’s room for a bit of fun on the red carpet.
Jennifer Aniston and Emma Stone put the fear of any wardrobe malfunctions or unflattering photos out of their mind for a moment as they locked in a wrestling-style bear hug.
The cast of Disney’s Big Hero 6 looked like they were having a ball before they picked up Best Animated Feature Film. Jamie Chung, Genesis Rodriguez, Damon Wayans Jr, Scott Adsit and chums looked ready to rumble before breaking out their phones for a group selfie.
And it wasn’t just the on-screen talent getting in on the act – director Chris Williams and Dreamworks boss Dean DeBlois squared up with Oscar looking on.
Rita Ora showed no sign of nerves ahead of her performance in the best song category – in fact she seemed to be waving her arms to get more photographers interested in her stunning strapless gown.
Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was another singer all set to perform in LA – and he was either pumping himself up in preparation or perhaps congratulating himself on finally hitting the big time…
And he didn’t leave it there – he was relaxed enough to effortlessly fist-bump former American football star and TV host Michael Strahan.
Cate Blanchett and Eddie Redmayne worked together back in 2007′s Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and double Oscar winner Cate looked delighted that Eddie had his own nomination this year.
And last but not least Marion Cotillard and Scarlett Johansson showed that even with the world’s photographers watching your every move there’s still room for genuine fun – and some amazing smize!
