STARS from Worcester Warriors rugby team were on hand to make sure the club's official creative partner, Modus Creative, launched a new venture in style.
Warriors and Modus Creative have formed a strong and close working relationship over the past 12 months with the Worcester firm a driving force behind the recent relaunch of the club's identity.
The design, marketing and publishing agency, with local and national clients working across a range of media, helped create the new face for Warriors by overseeing focus groups, interviews with fans and designing the identity of the club. It also provides the club with all of their marketing collateral, advertising and promotional activity.
The firm has now broadened its horizons even further by launching a new print business, Modus Print, in conjunction with Printing.com at newly-refurbished offices at 40b The Tything.
Print will offer all the benefits of their franchise with printing.com (voted franchise of the year 2004), providing high quality, affordable four colour process print and design with Modus's state-of- the-art digital in-house printing.
Digital printing will enable customers to have same-day print ranging from business cards and stationery to brochures, posters and flyers.
Sixways stars Dale Rasmussen and Craig Gillies joined staff to officially launch the new city centre shop and were joined by Warriors' official kit provider, Kukri, which provided Modus Print with specially designed staff uniforms.
Modus managing director Roger Marshall said: "The launch of Modus Print, a new innovative one-stop print and design store in Worcester, will bring Modus Creative's quality and expertise to the local business and retail community at an extremely competitive price.
"We are combining the national branding, pricing and high street presence of printing.com's printing expertise with our own marketing and design skills.
"We are adding an in-store digital print facility giving our customers a massive range of printing options and turnaround times, with bigger jobs and detailed design options available from Foregate Street-based Modus Creative."
