Man hit across the head

A MAN has been assaulted while walking with his elderly mother in Crabbs Cross.

The incident happened at about 8.30pm on Tuesday, March 25 as they headed toward the junction of Crabbs Cross Lane and Priestfield Road.

As they approached the junction the man was confronted by a group of about nine youths, one of whom hit him across the head.

The offender is described as a white male, 16 to 18-years-old, stocky, with short dark hair and was wearing a dark hooded jacket, dark coloured jeans and white trainers.
