Distinctive birds stolen

FIVE distinctive birds have been stolen from an aviary in Smallwood.

The three red-fronted Kakariki parakeets and two love birds, were stolen from a house in Millsborough Road, between 7am on Wednesday, June 15 and 7am the following day.

Pc Michael Taylor said: "These are distinctive birds and we're appealing to anyone who saw or heard anything connected to the theft or has any information on their current whereabouts to give us a call."
